Minister of Petroleum: Petrochemical exports rose by 45% yo $6.7 billion in 2021

Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla said that the petrochemicals, chemicals and fertilizer industries benefited greatly from the availability of natural gas in the past period, which was positively reflected on the rise in its exports during 2021 to about $6.7 billion, an increase of 45% over the previous year, making it one of the most important factors of the boom achieved by the total exports Egypt during the year.
