20 10 2026

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources categorically denies the validity of information circulating on several social media pages and websites concerning advertisements for vacant positions at the Ministry.

The Ministry confirms that these advertisements are fake and misleading and were not issued by the Ministry or published through any of its official pages or platforms. The use of the Ministry’s name in these advertisements does not make them credible or legitimate.

The Ministry urges citizens not to be misled by these advertisements or to engage with the entities and individuals publishing them. It warns against sharing any personal information or documents, or transferring any money under any pretext in exchange for applying for the alleged jobs, in order to avoid falling victim to fraud and scams.

The Ministry stresses that exploiting its name to publish false job advertisements and mislead citizens is an unacceptable matter that will not be tolerated. It confirms that all necessary legal measures are being taken against those responsible for publishing these advertisements and impersonating the Ministry, in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The Ministry calls on citizens to exercise caution, refrain from circulating or reposting these advertisements, and rely exclusively on statements and information issued through the Ministry’s official channels. Citizens are also urged not to trust any job advertisements whose sources cannot be verified.
